GramTel has added Maha Kashani and David Pomerantz to its Chicago-area sales staff, according to Rich Carlton, Vice President of Sales. They will develop and maintain customer relationships, and provide long-term strategic direction for companies that use GramTel’s data centers.
Kashani comes to GramTel from Dayton, Ohio, where she was an account manager for Cincinnati Bell, GramTel’s parent company. She was responsible for developing strategic telecommunication solutions for small and medium businesses, as well as maintaining assigned customer modules. Kashani has a bachelor of arts degree in communications, with a minor in management.
Pomerantz has 22 years of IT industry sales experience in the Chicago area. He has successfully managed and developed relationships with customers in a variety of global, enterprise and corporate accounts. Pomerantz also has worked with K-12 schools, higher education, as well as private and public sector sales.
“As we have expanded our presence in the Chicago area with a new data center in Lombard, Ill., we continue to seek experienced personnel who are able to articulate our mission of preventing and responding to emergencies that may cause information technology systems to become unavailable. Maha and David bring the experience and professionalism needed to market our company to organizations that will benefit from using our facilities for off-site data security, including co-location, data backup or disaster recovery of their business-critical data,” said Carlton.
GramTel was founded in 2000 and is a subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB). It is nationally recognized for its expertise in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, data backup, enterprise-class monitoring and excellent customer service. For more information, visit www.gramtel.net.
